Get up and running with SwimMeet Pro in just a few minutes.

Create or Join a Team
First time users must complete onboarding

When you first sign in, you'll be prompted to either create a new team or join an existing one:

Create a Team: Start from scratch as a Head Coach with full permissions
Join a Team: Use an invite code from your coach to join an existing team

Add Your Swimmers
Build your team roster

Navigate to the Roster page to add swimmers to your team:

Enter swimmer details: name, birthdate, gender
Add optional info: USA Swimming ID, contact details
Manage active/inactive status for roster changes

Create Your First Meet
Set up a swim meet

Go to Meets and create a new meet with these details:

Basic Info: Name, location, date range
Meet Type: Dual, Triangular, Invitational, Championship, or Time Trial
Course Type: SCY (Short Course Yards), SCM (Short Course Meters), or LCM (Long Course Meters)
Teams: Add opponent teams (bulk import SDIF files for instant roster setup)

Add Events
Define the meet schedule

Create the events for your meet:

Set event number, distance, stroke, and gender
Choose individual or relay events
Drag and drop to reorder events

Add Entries
Enter swimmers into events

Assign swimmers to compete in events:

Click on any event to add entries
Select swimmers and enter seed times
For relays, create relay teams first

Generate Heats
Create the meet order

Once all entries are added, generate heats:

System automatically seeds swimmers by time
Review and adjust lane assignments
Export heat sheets as PDF

Run the Meet
Record times and results

During the meet, record results:

Enter times manually or use live timing integration
Mark DQs, scratches, and exhibition swims
View real-time standings and results
